PagerDuty Integration

PagerDuty is a SaaS incident response platform that empowers teams to take action on up-to-date notifications events in one single platform. MeerkatWatch has enabled PagerDuty integration to allow users to receive downtime and uptime notifications within their platform.

PagerDuty + MeerkatWatch Integration Benefits

  • Monitor your websites and applications in real time by receiving alert notifications within PagerDuty if your monitors are down.
  • Select within MeerkatWatch which events and severities you want to receive.
  • Incidents are updated within both MeerkatWatch and PagerDuty, and will automatically resolve when the incident returns to normal status (the monitor is up again).

How it Works

  • If MeerkatWatch detects that your website or application is down, it will send an incident to a service in PagerDuty.
  • Events from MeerkatWatch will trigger a new incident on the corresponding PagerDuty service, or group as alerts into an existing incident.
  • Once a recovery is detected, MeerkatWatch will send a notification to PagerDuty to resolve the incident, and associated incident on that service.

Requirements

PagerDuty integrations require an Admin base role for account authorization. If you do not have this role, please reach out to an Admin or Account Owner within your organization to configure the integration.
